I have recently read two books. One is about a boy in a war. The other is about a boy and his friends, who face an unknown evil. Even though my the characters in my story are from different worlds, they have a lot in common. I am comparing Bill Denbrough from Stephen Kings book It. And Jonathan from The Fighting Ground.
In both the fighting ground, and It, there is a main conflict. In the fighting ground it is a war. In it it is a evil thing. One main similarity is they both fight to stop there enemies. Another is that they both fight them with friends. In the fighting ground, Jonathan fights with his fathers friend. In it Bill fights will himself and 3 other friends.
Another similarity is that one well known person dies. In it Bills only brother, George dies. In the book The Fighting Ground Jonathans fathers friend dies. They also both die from their enemy. They also both run away from there enemy, and get found by them.
Normally I would think that a book like It, and The Fighting Ground, could not be alike. Even though my the characters in my story are from different worlds, they have a lot in common.
