text structure

There are many conflicts in my novel. Some are big and some are small. But the main conflict in my story right now is, that he ends up alone in the middle of a battle. I do not know if this gets resolved yet. I do know that the main character gets captured by Haitians. He struggles to get away but doesn’t succeed at first. Then he gets his chance to escape. So far no conflicts have got resolved.
