Point Of View

in a book a charecters point of veiw akes a big differance. I am currently reading the book The fighting Ground. It is about a young and brave boy named Jonathan. They hear a bell and think something is wrong, so they send Jonathan to see what's wrong. There ends up being a huge war. He is asked by the corporal to join and fight with them. He ends up missing and caught by the enemy. From his point of view Jonathan describes a world of love, hate, peace, and violence. Everything is different from his mother

All of this would be different from his mothers point of view. Things would still be bad but might not be as horrible as getting caught. Things would be bad at the very beginning of the book for her. One example I have to support that is; she send him to go see what's wrong but not to join. Things would get worse in the middle of the book too. I say this because the militia comes to tell her that Jonathan is nowhere to be found.

The main characters mother would feel a lot different because she was fearing for just her son. Jonathan was fearing for himself and his family. The only thing that Jonathan wants is to make sure everybody is safe. Thing only thing that him mother wants is to get her son back. She said that she wanted nothing more than her son back alive.

In the beginning Jhonathan describes almost everything as beautiful and loving. but in the end he describes everything as hateful and violent. Compared to his mother who thinks everything as beautiful and loving. this is why a charecters point of view makes a big differance.

The difference between a mother and a sons point of view can be big and small. In this story a its small difference.
