same difference

I have currently read two books that i would like to compare in this essay. even tho they are very different i believe that they are also very alike. These books are called Witch and Wizard and Maximum Ride the Angel Experiment. 

Witch and Wizard is about two kids that end up having special powers, and being the most wanted people on the planet because of that. Maximum Ride the Angel Experiment is about a group of kids who were made in a science lab and born with wings. Because of that they hunt down the scientists that made them to kill them.

This is one main reason these books are the same. In both of these books there is an evil ruler/lord. In Witch and Wizard the one is the evil ruler. he hunts all kids down and sends them to prison for being kids. in Maximum Ride the Angel Experiment the scientists are the rulers. They hire assassins and killers to assassinate the innocent kids.

This is another main similarity is about who fights who. in both Witch and Wizard and Maximum Ride the Angel Experiment the kids fight the adults. In Maximum Ride the Angel Experiment the kids fight scientists and assassins. In Witch and Wizard they fight prison guards, police, and the one who judges.


Despite all of the similarities there is one big difference. The kids in both books have special powers but how they god them is different. In Witch and Wizard the kids were born with there powers; but in Maximum Ride the Angel Experiment there powers were government issued. This is how i think these great books are very alike.
